HOUSTON, TX - Visionworks, the official eyewear and eye care retailer of Little League® Baseball and Softball, helped to provide crucial field recovery efforts to West Oaks Little League and Lumberton Little League this spring. The improvements will have a lasting impact for the entire community impacted by Hurricane Harvey, enabling young baseball and softball players to come together and continue to forge lifelong memories.

A special grant on behalf of Visionworks, executed with the assistance of the CBS EcoMedia team, will help to enhance the experiences that the players, volunteers, and families of these Little League programs for years to come. The donation provided funding to be used for various items impacted by flooding, including fencing and scoreboard repairs, replenishment of field supplies and equipment needs, as well as restroom and concession refurbishments. These widespread recovery efforts allow for an enjoyable experience for the children currently participating in both the West Oaks and Lumberton Little Leagues.
